《城南旧事》这本书，我觉得冬阳、童年、骆驼队这个题目很特别，吸引着我，让我有兴趣打开了第一页。

整本书让我最感兴趣的，当然是爸爸的.花儿落了，我也不再是小孩子了这个篇章。主要讲了：英子漫长的小学生涯结束了，在毕业典礼的前一天，英子去看望病倒在床上的爸爸。英子说爸爸不在身边，讲话也不怎么敢讲。爸爸却说，无论做什么事情，只要努力坚持去做就行了，不用太在意别人。毕业那天，大家都落泪了，这也使英子回想起以前刚刚入学时，欢送六年级同学时的情形。

林海音13岁那年，爸爸去世了，这是件多么痛苦的事情。一个为成年的孩子，面对了这么大的事，还要养活弟弟妹妹，真厉害!

这本书，我觉得就是英子从童年到小学6年级的生活故事，和《假如给我三天光明》类似。不过，为什么要叫《城南旧事》我还不知道。不过，这是林海音奶奶的一个美好的童年!
