在我们队的无限自责中，比赛也接近了尾声，我们的W老师作为英语教研组长为台上的选手颁奖。“三等奖中的三等奖”（最后一名）的我们，恨不得找个地洞钻进去，W老师看到有意躲在人群中的我们，大步走到我们身边：“来，让我给我的孩子们颁奖！”说着，我们每个人的脖子上也多了一块奖牌，W老师递给我们一个和蔼的'眼神：“一次输赢说明不了什么，大家努力了就好，好好复习，明年的拼词大赛我们卷土重来！”我望着W老师那张亲切的脸，他的眼神里没有一丝责备，更多的是关爱，我不禁心生暖意，是啊！明年我们卷土重来！
第二天的英语课上，W老师对昨天的拼词大赛进行了总结：“想必大家昨天都去观看了拼词大赛，我认为比赛的输赢并不重要，努力的过程才是根本。当然，大家应该积累比赛经验，每次比赛都是一次不平凡的经历，老师希望大家能积极参与各类学科活动。这次代表咱们班参赛的是L同学，请大家给予她热烈的掌声。”说完老师再次递给我一个和蔼的眼神，为我鼓起掌来，全班响起雷鸣般的掌声，我也下定决心：“明年拼词大赛一定好好努力，不让同学失望，也为老师争光！”

上课的时候，我认真地听讲，不敢多说一句话，屋子里安静极了，连一根针掉到地上都能听得一清二楚。侯老师有时拿着书教我朗读，有时坐下来教我书写。“这里和这里，你都听得懂吗？听不懂的话，我就再给你讲一遍。”侯老师耐心地对我说。“嗯，能听懂。”我有些怯生生地回答。“好，那么我们讲下面的内容。”侯老师笑了笑。“嗯”我点了点头。尴尬烟消云散，我们成了朋友。就这样，一直到爸爸来接我。临走时，我对侯老师笑了笑，说了声再见。
