Firstly, perseverance let people step closely towards success. Most peoplewant to make a big difference to prove their value. People who set their goaland keep moving would make their dream come true. However, there are some peoplewho set their goal but they stop at the difficulty would fail in the end. Ithink the difference between success and failure is perseverance. If we haveperseverance, even if we are not clever, we will make a great difference, but ifwe not, we are doomed to lose. Secondly, there is also a kind of people who are born with cleverness, Ithink they are lucky. Nevertheless, if they don’t make a hard work on their wayto their goal, they, absolutely, will become loser. Whether we are gifted forintelligent, we must be hard-working so as to success. I regard hard-working asan efficient approach to be successful because I believe ‘pains and gains’. Asfor those who do not make great efforts on work, failure follows. In old times,there is a clever boy who can make excellent poem when he can talk. When hisfather found the little child’s cleverness, he just let the child make poems toshow around while never let the boy learned anything. When the boy grew up,people forgot him because he lost the ability to compose poems and becameordinary as others. From this matter, we can see that only by hard-working canwe get knowledge and make a good future.
Anyway, I think perseverance and hard-working are both important in our wayto success for they enhance us and produce success.
When doing the same thing, some people success but some fail. There must bemany factors leading that result. In my view, the most important factor is thedifference of confidence, determination and sociability are the foundation andcondition of success.
First of all, no matter who want to success, they must have confidence, asconfidence is the basic need for success. If someone always thinks he can’t dothis or that well, then he can’t finish it well. For example, when a person isbeing interviewed, if he doesn’t believe he can do that job well, how can he actbelievable, so how can the interviewers trust his ability? Therefore, theinterview is obviously a failure. However, if a person is confident, he canreceive the opportunity to prepare for every challenge easily, which makessuccess become closer.
In addition, confidence just the door for success, if someone wants to getinto the house of success, determination is necessary. The determined meetdifficulties always overcome it and insist to the end. On the other hand, ifsomeone is not determined, he would give up when facing difficulty. Forinstance, when doing homework, the person who is not determined always can’tfinish perfectly and even copy from others when he thinks that homework is hardto finish. However, the person who is determined always can finish it well,because he know what he really wants and he is able to carry on.
The last but not least is that no one can do anything well by themselves,so they need help. At that time, sociable is helpful. It is well-known thatsuccess is hard to reach. Therefore, people need others to help them. A sociableperson can get help easily, as he has so many friends. On the other side, aperson is not good at communication, when he gets in trouble, maybe no one helpshim. So we can see the importance of sociability to success.
In a word, there maybe not only confidence, determination, and sociabilityare essential to success, but I think they are the most important ones, for theyare the foundation and condition of success.
We are always trying to find the way to success, which stands for power,pride and glory. There have been strings of stories of success I was told sinceI was a child. From then on, I have been fascinated with being successful.
Whatsuccess? Different people have different opinions towards thisquestion. To start with, some people, such as accountants, workers and so on,are longing for being rich, which allows them buy what they want, and enjoyluxury. They treat it as success. 我读了美国著名作家海明威的小说《老人与海》，十分佩服小说中老渔夫的意志。
他让我懂得了一个人一定要有坚持不懈的精神，才能获得成功。 小说描写的是
一个年近六旬的老渔夫，在一次单身出海打鱼时，钓到了一条大鱼，却拉不上来。
老渔夫同鱼周旋了几天后，才发现这是一条超过自己渔船数倍的大马林鱼，虽然
明知很难取胜，但仍不放弃。后来又因大马林鱼伤口上的鱼腥味引来了几群鲨鱼
抢食，但老人仍不愿就这样放弃，最终突出重围，将大鱼带回了渔港，让其他渔

我在寒假里看了几本书，最吸引我的是《苦儿流浪记》。 这本书主要写了雷米小时候被

维泰利斯，从此，雷米和维泰利斯过这颠沛流离的生活。不久，维泰利斯被饿冻死了。好心

经过千心万苦找到了自己的母亲。

《水浒传》是中国四大名著之一，它主要描写了一群好汉们，一起替天行道、反抗贪官
污吏、除强扶弱的故事。这些英雄好汉们，绝大多数都曾程度不同的遭受到封建统治阶级的
各种各样的迫害。为了生存他们轰轰烈烈地竖起反抗大旗。但是，他们最终还是失败了。《水

我借用寒假的时间，我读了意大利著名儿童作家亚米契斯的代表作《爱的教育》。

广阔无边的草原也曾有虎豹，但在漫长的岁月中它们都被无情地淘汰了。唯独只有草原
狼经起了时间的考验并且最终成为了草原的兽中之王。促使狼千百年来在蒙古草原经久不衰
的原因究竟是什么？是团结！在狼群里老弱病残的狼总是受到照顾。吃食时狼也会把食物留
给它们一份。在生死关头时狼又把最好的退路让给它们而自己却去面临危险，面临死亡。试
问，这种团结的精神又有多少人具备呢？
