“Time is money.” This saying means that time is very valuable.

But time is more valuable than money. The money we have lost can be gained again, but the time we have wasted cannot be regained. Moreover, sometimes persons can exist without money, but nothing can be done without time, just as no one can live without air.

Despite being so valuable, time is often neglected by men. Since time is an invisible thing, men often waste their time unconsciously(无意地). Without anything to do, they may gossip from morning till night.

Man can live only at most to about 100 years. It seems fairly long, but in fact it is rather

short. We often say “How quickly time flies!” How many things can a man accomplish in such a short period? Hence we should use the valuable time properly to do our work. We will race with it. We will study and work hard. Never waste a little bit of it.

“时间就是金钱。”这句话的意思就是说时间是非常宝贵的。

但是，时间比金钱更宝贵。我们已经失去了可以得到钱了，但是我们也浪费时间不能恢复。此外，有时没有钱的人可以存在，但什么事也没有时间做，只是因为没有人能够生活在没有空气。

尽管是如此宝贵，时间往往忽略了男性。由于时间是一种无形的东西，男人往往不自觉地浪费自己的时间(无意地)。没有什么关系，他们可能会从早忙到晚闲话。

人可以住在最多只有约100年。似乎相当长，但实际上它是比较短。我们常说“时光飞逝!”多少事，男人能做到在这么短的时间?因此，我们应该用正确的宝贵时间做我们的工作。我们将与它比赛。我们将努力学习和工作。永远不要浪费一点点。

As the saying goes, “Time is money.” But does time definitely mean money? I don’t think so.

First of all, time is more precious than money. When money is spent, you can earn it back if you like. However, when time is gone, it will never come back again. To some extent, time is priceless.

其次，不是所有的时间最终都能转换成金钱。许多人虚度光阴。他们的时间只是用来浪费的，不是挣钱。最终他们将一无所获。

因此，一定要谨记，只有努力工作时间才可以转换成金钱。

I always think there is not enough time. For example, I have just taken a three-day holiday. But when I look back, I just feel that it’s only one day. There goes a proverb, “Time is money”. Now I want to say, time is more precious than money, because when money is spent, we can earn some more again. However, when time is gone or lost, never will it return.

Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usually limited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it’s a pity that I am always not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.

Some people in the rest of life are looking for opportunities. They have plenty of time, but don’t own too much money. So every day for them is long and even suffering. Some people have much money, but always feel that time is very unfair to him, and said: Why am I busy all day? They want more freedom. Time and money, which is more important in our life? Different people have different views. As for me, I think we should take this problem into two sides.

Young people, especially graduates, should make more money to support their life. When we are young, we should experience more different and challenge jobs, then find an appropriate job to make money. Young is the capital. Young people are more intelligent and having more energy. They have many advantages in making money than the old. So, young people should make use of their character to make more money.

When we are no longer young, or married, we need more time to stay with our family. In this period, if we have made enough money before, we will live more comfortable. What’s more, health is quite important for everyone, we could not ignore our health for making money. It should base on the healthy body. No health, no life. When we are no longer young, we shall allocate more free time to ourselves to build relationship with families.

In a word, money is important, but we should earn more money in the case of there is enough time to learn. Time and money, they are complementing each other. We need to coordinate the relationship between free time and money, and choose the most appropriate life style.

有些人在生活的各个方面寻找机会,他们有足够的时间,但缺乏金钱。所以他们每天都很长,甚至痛苦。有些人有很多钱,却总觉得每天太匆忙没有时间,他们想问:为什么我们整天忙着?他们想要更多的自由的时间。时间和金钱,在我们的生活哪个更重要?不同的人有不同的观点。我认为我们应该一分为二地看这个问题。

总之,金钱很重要,但我们应该在有足够的时间去学习和思考的前提下去赚更多的钱。时间和金钱，二者相辅相成，缺一不可。我们需要协调好自由时间和金钱之间的关系，根据自己想要的生活来选择生活方式。

Time flies like an arrow before we realize it .The good old proverb "time is money" reminds us that time is valuable. Time is something once lost you could never have again. Therefore we should cherish it and spend it in meaningful things.

However many people do too many meaningless things to kill their time such as playing computer watching TV or gossiping. When you do these things the time has long been unwittingly flowed away. In my opinion the best way to make full use of time is planning your time rationally and sticking the plan firmly. Spending more time on something significant not only will make your life fulfilling but also will give you a sense of accomplishment. Instead killing your time with meaningless things would bring you depression even despair. Remember that those who abandon time will be also abandoned by time.

可是现在的我已步入高年级阶段了，不仅作业多了，而且要参加的活动也越来越多。我写完作业后还要练钢琴，练羽毛球，为了早点睡觉，好让明天有精力完成学习任务，所以我必须珍惜时间，不能浪费一分一秒。前一段时间，我参加了“科技创意美术画”社团，还参加了鼓号队，两个活动项目的训练时间碰撞在一起了。由于美术画上交日期迫在眉睫，所以，我选择了参加美术画活动的训练。

美术画是从下午第一节课开始训练，一直到五点半，而鼓号队训练是从放学开始的，一直训练到五点半，于是我决定用下午两节课的时间把美术画勾线、涂色任务完成后赶紧去训练打小鼓。因此，我开始与时间赛跑。

一进美术室我就立刻领取画纸，开始用勾线笔勾线。第一节课的下课铃已打响，我也只有几个地方没有勾线。于是，我又埋头苦干起来。眼保操做完后，我已经勾好了线，下一步准备利用大课间的20分钟以及上课的40分钟完成涂色任务。

这次比赛很重要，因此我尽力保证完成的速度快与质量高相兼顾，但要把颜色涂好，涂得均匀、干净是要非常细心，花费很长时间的。没过多久，下课铃响了，我还有很多地方没涂，我想：虽然放学了，但老师讲话至少也要10多分钟，那我再画15分钟吧。于是，我又趴在桌子上画了起来。直到听见汤老师在广播里说：“请参加鼓号队比赛的同学，迅速到操场上集合”时，我看了看画纸上，还有许多地方没涂色，这样老师不会批准我去打鼓的！这时，我清楚地意识到：在与这115分钟的赛跑中，我输了，但我已经尽力了。在这件事情中，我确实而真切地感受到了时间的宝贵。

那时我真后悔，前几次训练应该赶快画，这样，昨天就能完成绘画任务，而不是拖到今天。从那一刻起，我真正理解了“时间就是金钱”这句话的含义。正因为如此，现在的我做事都有了一定的计划，对每天的任务也有了详细的安排。“时间就是金钱”这句话每天都在提醒我，警示我，鞭策着我，让我珍惜每一分每一秒时间！我也把这句话当作我的座右铭。画任务，而不是拖到今天”。在真实、具体的“时间紧迫”的体验里，孩子自我成长，做事情有了计划与安排的意识。

这一篇文章写了作者的爸爸看了几本讲效率的书，就常做实验。他们一家有时比赛穿衣服，有时比赛穿鞋子……作者的爸爸总结了很多节约时间的好办法：扣扣子从面开始扣；衣服、袜子、帽子都放在固定的地方；把鞋带系松一点……作者向爸爸学习，在周五晚上就安排好周六周日的工作。笫二天，按时间有条理地做事，省下来的时间做自己喜欢做的事情，所以作者成绩很好，而且第二课堂又特别出色，真让我羡慕不已！

这篇文章告诉我，做任何事都要讲效率，拖拖拉拉就会失败。回想我以前写作文，总不专心，写一篇文章写几句，就和别人聊几句，一篇文章下来，用去两个小时有多。而且时间用去了，可作文却没写好，有时还要被老师罚我重新写一遍呢。

妈妈经常批评我做事不讲效率，但我却是“意见接受，行动照旧”。所以总不见我有什么事是成功的，就拿这次的数算比赛来说吧，比赛前还跟同学夸下海口，说一定会赢他。比赛时，我发现他早就口算完，在仔细复查了，我却还有很多题没写完呢。成绩出来后，跟那个同学一比，真是望尘莫及啊，羞愧得我真想找个洞钻进出呢！嗨，都是拖沓这家伙拖后腿，我必须扔掉它！

记得周老师常鼓励我说：“快！快！快！不要像个老太太！”她讲课时还说，现在的社会是个讲求效率的社会，快人一步，理想达到。她不批准我参加学校的篮球训练是因为我做事拖沓，连作业也不能按时完成，要是我能合理安排时间，学会快速把事情办好，就一定能挤出时间去参加学校的训练。我听了，就像加满油的车子，充满了动力。我想，既然文中的小作者能学习训练两不误，为什么我就不行呢？我也能行！我就向他学习，事事讲求效率，一定能跟我的挚爱——篮球天天在操场上并肩作战的。
