Animal are our loyal(忠诚的) friends. Moreover, most people like them. So you can often see some people keeping animals, like a dog, cat, rabbit, turtle and fish, is common（普遍的）. They are gentle（温柔的）, kind and lovely.

Before, I had two squirrels（松鼠）. But half a month, they both died. To this end, I feel very ashamed（惭愧的） and sad.

Later, I checked some information about a squirrel: it generally eat grain（谷物）; must drink boiled（煮开过的） water; do not eat cooked（煮熟的） food. If I am careful, care for them closely（密切地）, the two lives will not disappear.

I always wanted to raise a pet, but my mother refused because I even couldn’t look after myself well. But recently, my mother changed her attitude, she bought me a lovely cat as my birthday gift. I was very happy and promised to keep it well. Since raising this lovely creature, I became patient. When I bathed her, she struggled and tried to run away, then I had to grab it back. The most important thing was to feed food on time and clean the place that the cat lived. Sometimes I felt so dirty to do it, but I had made my promise and couldn’t break my words. I learned a lot from raising a pet. I started to consider my mother’s feelings when I became naughty. I needed to make some changes and be a better girl.

我一直想养一只宠物，但是我妈妈一直都在拒绝我，因为她觉得我连自己都照顾不好。但最近，我妈妈改变了她的态度，她给我买了一只可爱的猫作为我的'生日礼物。我很高兴，承诺要好好的养护。自从养了这个可爱的生物之后，我变得有耐心。我给她洗澡时，她会挣扎，试图逃跑，我不得不把它抓回来。最重要的是要按时给它喂食物，还有把它住的地方弄干净。有时我觉得很脏，但是既然我做出了承诺，就不能食言。养宠物让我学到了很多，我开始体会到我调皮时妈妈的感受了。我需要做出一些改变，成为更好的女孩。

Nowadays, with the improvement of the people’s living standard, some people form a habit of raising small or domestic animals as pets. Some raise small dogs or cats as their pets while others raise various birds or fishes as their pets.

如今，随着人们生活水平的提高，有些人形成饲养小的动物或者家禽作为宠物的一个习惯。有些人养小狗或猫作为宠物而有些人则饲养各种鸟类和鱼类为他们的宠物。

However, some people object to the idea of raising animals as pets. To them, animals have their own right to live a natural life like human beings. On the other hand, the way people raise animals as pets have a negative influence on the surroundings ,for example, dogs’ chasing people on the street and so on. What’s more, some animals will transmit some diseases.

然而，一些人反对饲养动物为宠物。对他们来说，动物们就像人类一样，有过自然生活的权利。另一方面，人们养宠物对环境有负面影响，例如，狗在街上追赶人等。更重要的是，有些动物会传播疾病。

In my opinion, I do not like the idea to raise animals at pets. We should not deprive them of their natural right. In this way, we will live in a peaceful world in harmony with the other living creatures.

在我看来，我不赞成。我们不能剥夺他们的自然生活的权利。在这种方式中，我们将与其他生物生活在一个和平的和谐世界。

I have a lovely pet. It's a small cat. It's name is Candy, because it looks like a candy. It has white and black colors. It's smaller than general cats. When I first saw it in the market, I liked it. Therefore, I begged my mother bought it to me and I succeeded.

It has come to my home for three months. It is attracted. Everyone come to my home likes to play with it. It hides under the sofa or bed often. When I call it, it would react to me. Sometimes, it would walk to me quietly. I like my cat very much.

我有一只可爱的宠物，是一只小猫咪。它的名字叫Candy，因为它长得像糖果。它比普通的猫要小，毛色是黑白的。当我在集市上看到它时，就喜欢上它了，所以央求妈妈给我买下，我成功了。
