大气污染对气候的影响很大，大气污染排放的污染物对局部地区和全球气候都会产生一定影响，尤其对全球气候的影响，从长远的观点看，这种影响将是很严重的。

燃料中含有各种复杂的成分，在燃烧后产生各种有害物质，即使不含杂质的燃料达到完全燃烧，也要产生水和二氧化碳，正因为燃料燃烧使大气中的二氧化碳浓度不断增加，破坏了自然界二氧化碳的平衡，以至可能引发"温室效应"，致使地球气温上升。

酸雨

随着工业化和能源消费增多，酸性排放物也日益增多，它们进入空气中，经过一系列作用就形成了酸雨。

当空气轻微污染时，人体吸入的空气可以由鼻腔里的鼻毛除去部分灰尘，再由鼻腔里的黏液和各类支气管里的黏液将灰尘粘连住。气管和支气管内的纤毛有几千万根，它们每秒约摆动12次，像“清洁工”一样从下向上推扫呼吸道里的黏液，直至咽喉部，再通过咳嗽咳出体外。

当空气严重污染时，呼吸道的净化作用将降低，甚至完全丧失。在这种情况下，呼吸道和肺易受病菌的侵袭而患各种疾病。

由于种种原因，空气污染还在加剧。如果不能解决空气污染的问题，恐怕真有一天，人类只能带着口罩生活。

However, with the deepening of urbanization, more cars are needed, which will make the air pollution worse. Therefore, the following actions should be taken. First, we should apply the most cutting-edge technologies in order to adopt new forms of energy as substitutes for fossil fuels. Second, try hard to develop possible transportation means, which are enviromental friendly. So that the citizens can reduce the dependence on cars. In short, our humans should take responsibilities for the air pollution and have to find ways to solve this problem.

In the meantime, many power plants are being modernized to give off less polluted material.Also, engineers try to design and locate new power plants to do minimum damage to the environment.

However, it may be that we still have a long way to go before we have a "clean" world.Nearly all of the countries are trying hard to prevent and control air pollution. There indeed seems to be no end to tasks that environmentalists will be required to do.People will continually find new ways to control pollution.

As you know,there's no enough clean water for people. So many of them lose their lives because of water.

In a lot of countries, people have to cut trees for living. So there's nothing to keep water from running away.

Also we have polluted the land, the river and the air.

So we have to face more and more floods and droughts .

It's time that we must do something useful to protect our environment. We can plant trees and take good care of them.

We can save the water and ask our parents to do so.

We can't throw any litter onto the ground and we should collect them for recycling.

If we take good care of our earth today,it will be more beautiful tomorrow.

We all know that clean air is important to good health. Wherever you go and whatever you do, you are always surrounded by a sea of gases that we call air.

If there are impurities in the air, they may be absorbed by our bodies and make us ill.

We need clean air, but unfortunately , air pollution is globally present , especially in cities.

Many large cities are anything but pollution-free. Our cities have many factories, which we need to make food, clothing and other things.

Every year these factories pour millions upon millions of tons of smog into air.

Power plants and houses that burn coal add greatly to air pollution.

Besides , there are more cars in cities now.

Once out on the streets, they will take in fresh air and replace it with poisonous gases.

Our country is trying hard to prevent and control air pollution.

As long as every citizen also realizes its importance and makes join efforts, the day will come soon when people will take in only clean air.

Then , the sunlight will no longer be blackened out by smoke and soot.

Today the quality of our natural environment has become an important issue.

The world population is rising so quickly that the world has become too crowded.

We are using up our natural resources and at the same time polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals.

If we continue to do this, life on earth cannot survive. Concerned people have made some progress in environmental protection.

Governments of many countries have established laws to protect the air, forests and sea resources and to stop environmental pollution.

Still more measures should be taken to solve environmental problems. People should be further educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products.

We are sure that we can have a better and cleaner place in the future.
