There are four seasons in a year. Spring, summer, fall and winter. In spring, the weather is windy and warm. In summer, the weather is hot and sunny. In fall, the weather is windy and cool. In winter, the weather is always windy and cold. They are all good. But my favourite season is summer. Do you know “why?” Because I can eat ice-cream and eat watermelons. I can swim in the lake. Expecially I can spend a good holiday. In the holiday,I can go hiking with my parents. I can play with my friends. I can watch TV and I can do everything that I want to do. So summer is my favourite season. What about you?

Summer is the great season for all sports in the open air. It is the season for football which is often called the national sport because of its popularity. I usually watch television and read the newspaper reports about the football results of the little leagues. During the summer I like to go to the beach often because it is very close to my home. I usually go there during the summer vacation to relax after many months in school in the city. I feel very comfortable with the familiar quiet life of the villagers.

It's warmer than winter, cooler than summer and more energetic than autumn. In spring, leaves turn green and flowers turn beautiful. They come out of the ground. The birds sing very well. In spring, we can play outside all day. The air is fresh and it makes us comfortable. Spring always rains, too. Maybe some people don’t like rain because it makes us unhappy. I like the rain very much. Although it makes the ground wet but rice、vegetables and so on all need rain. I love it very much. I love spring because it gets warmer. Animals run out of their holes, it makes me pleasant. Spring is the time for planting. The ground becomes softer and warmer from the rain and the sun.
