一天早晨，和往常一样，我早上起床之后便出发去学校。走在路上，我看见和我一样早起的环卫工人在扫大街，这时，一个想法突然涌上了我的心头。我走过去，看着这位环卫工人，便故意把垃圾丢在马路上，想看看他是什么反应?我想肯定会生气，或者把我骂一顿，于是我开始等他的骂声。可是，这位环卫大叔看了我扔的垃圾之后，不仅没有生气，也没有骂我，只是看了我一眼，然后用娴熟的动作把垃圾扫了起来，便再没搭理我，又忙活去了。看着环卫工人看我的眼神，我心里有点虚虚的，好像做错了什么似的，反正结果不如我所料，我便有点沮丧地走到了学校，并在课件间和同学分享了这件事情，大家听了，便开始议论了起来：

勇敢的他们总是遇到坏人不退缩，勇敢的面对坏人，即使坏人手上有刀、手枪也不怕，宁愿自己受伤都不会让坏人逍遥法外。把他们抓住后，并对他们进行教育，告诉他们不能做坏事，要做个好人。
无私的他们到了过节、放假的日子，也没有回家，而是在自己的岗位上，即使有的警察生病了，也坚守在自己的岗位。你们知道为什么吗？告诉你们，他们要保护我们、保护国家。把人们和祖国放在第一位。是多么伟大的人啊！
机智的他们总能把落入坏人手中的人民群众救出来。比如：我有一次看电视，看到电视新闻讲有一个歹徒挟持了一位老人和孩子。当时就听到孩子的哭叫声，这是就有一位警察出来谈判，让自己当人质来交换那个小孩。正当这位警察与歹徒谈话时，另一组的警察在另一个角度击毙了他。成功的救出了人质。

乐于助人的他们遇到迷路的孩子就会亲手送他们回家。如果遇到流浪的残疾人会掏出自己的钱给他们买吃的，并联系他们的家人把他们接回家。如果看见白发苍苍，手脚不方便的老爷爷、老奶奶就会背他们过马路。当看到有人的钱包被小偷偷了，他们会立刻想办法帮助他，同时也会献出自己的一份爱心。
我心目中的警察是伟大的，无私的！我很敬佩他们！
