What is nature? It's everything that exists in the world independently ofpeople， such as pants and animals， earth and rocks， and the weather.
Now more and more people are focusing on the nature. It is no doubt thatthe nature is important to every human being. No nature， no life. Because of thesupplies of the nature， we have lived happily for a long time. And we started togain every thing available from the nature. And this lasted so long a time.Today， people have discovered that the nature around is getting worse andworse.
What is threatening the nature? Air and water pollution， overharvesting ofplant and animal species， overpopulation and so on. Overpopulation is thebiggest source of pollution. Let's take overpopulation as an example.
What does overpopulation feel like? When we move slowly through the city ina tazi. When we enter a crowded slum district. When the temperature is high andwhen the air is thick with dust and smoke. The streets are crowded with people.The streets seem alive with people. People eating. People washing. Peopletalking. People sleeping. The whole world faces the problem that raw materials arebeing used up at an increasing rate and food production can not keep up with thepopulation increase. People in rich countries make the heaviest demands on theworld's resources， its food， fuel and land， and cause the most pollution. A babyborn in the United States will use in his lifetime 30 times more of the world'sresources than a baby born in India. Unless all the countries of the world takeunited action to deal with the population explosion there will be more and morepeople fighting for a share of less and less land， food and fuel， and the futurewill bring poverty， misery and war to us all.
For most of the developing countries， it is a good idea to control thepopulation growth. For example， China has carried out birth control for years.And this plan has a great effect on the world population.
If the population continues to increase， if the air and water continue tobe polluted， if we don't do something to protect wild-plant and wildlife specieswill be declining. Species and biological communities have difficulty adaptingto change. Economic opportunities and the quality of life of future generationsare also put at risk. 河流污染 River PollutionIn my memory, though my hometown is a small village, it is very beautiful. When I was small, I liked to caught fish in the river, the water was so clean that I could see the fish. As I miss my hometown so much, last week, I went back to my hometown, I found the place in my memory was not like what it was. The trees were not that numerous, the roads became bigger, while there was less place for the river, I saw some dead fish in the river, the water was dirty, the river pollution was so serious! I couldn’t believe it, the beautiful hometown was destroyed by the pollution, it is people’s ambition results in it, they chase for the profit at the cost of polluting the environment. I wish people can pay attention to protect the environment, they are saving themselves, too.
在我的记忆中，虽然我的家乡是个小城镇，但是很美丽。当我还小的时候，我喜欢在河里抓鱼，河水是如此的干净以至于我能看到河里的鱼。由于抵挡不住对家乡的思念，上周，我回到了家乡，我发现我记忆中的城市再也不是它原来的样子了。树没以前的多，道路变得宽阔，然而河道却变得窄些了，我看到河中有一些死掉的鱼，河水是如此的脏，河流污染是如此的严重!我无法相信眼前的一切，美丽的家乡被污染给破坏了，人们的贪念导致了这个结果，他们为了追求利益，不惜以牺牲环境为代价。我希望人们能注意保护环境，这也是在保护他们自己。
生长的树木 The Growing TreesIt is known to all that today the environment has been badly polluted. Though many action have
been taken to protect our environment, it still has a long way to go. Two years ago, I went to middle school, and the first moment I saw the environment, I found that trees were very small, and many workers were busy planting trees. Now, when I looked around our school, the trees were taller than people and they grew so fast. People always talk about planting trees but less of them can take action. If they plant trees immediately, then there would be more green scenery. Protecting the environment is not just words. We should take action right now.
众所周知，今天的环境已经被严重污染。虽然我们采取了很多行动去保护环境，但是仍然还有很长的路要走。两年前，我上了中学。第一次看到校园的环境时，树木非常小，有很多工人正忙着种树。而如今，当我环顾四周时，树比人还高了，它们成长的速度非常快。人们总是说要植树但是没有采取行动。如果他们早日采取行动，那么会有更多的绿色风景。保护环境不仅仅是说说而已，我们应该马上采取行动。
共享单车 About Bike-sharingBike-sharing has been advocated by the government in recent years. It offers help to the people who is in a hurry to reach the destination soon, the more important is to let more people back to the simple traffic style and reduce private cars, so as to protect our environment. But some people make use of this policy to take advantages of others. News report that some middle age men and women force people to give charge after finishing using bike-sharing, because they look after the bikes. It is known to all that bike-sharing is free, which is the convenience government offers to the public. It is ridiculous to charge. When the news exposed, the public know the truth and the ones who take charge are criticized. Under the government’s supervision, now bike-sharing is more popular.
近年来政府一直提倡共享单车。共享单车给那些匆忙、快要到达目的地的人提供了帮助，更重要的是它让更多的人回归到简单的交通方式，减少私家车出行，保护我们的环境。但是有些人却利用这个政策去占别人的便宜。据新闻报道，一些中年男女强迫人们在使用自行车后交费，因为他们在帮看管自行车。众所周知，共享单车是免费的项目，是政府向公众提供的便利。收费是荒谬的。新闻曝光后，公众也了解到了真相，收费的人也受到了批评。在政府的监督下，现在共享自行车越来越受欢迎。
控制环境污染 Control Environmental PollutionToday, as the development of the technology, people live a much better life than before, the average wage is promoted highly. The economy develops at the cost of polluting the environment, we can see the pollution everywhere, like the river water is dirty, the situation is so serious that we must take some action to control the environmental pollution.
First, we should not throw away the rubbish, whenever we have rubbish at hand, we should keep the habit to throw it into the dustbin, sometimes the garbage can be recycled.
Second, the government should make some measure to punish the industry which is not deal with the pollution well. With the government’s intervention, the businessmen will pay special attention to the pollution and dare not to ignore it.
Protecting the environment needs everyone’s effort, to ourselves and our offspring’s health, we must take action to protect the environment.
今天，随着科技的发展，人们比之前生活得更好，平均工资也大幅度提升。经济的发展却是以污染环境为代价，我们随处可见污染，比如河水很脏，这样的情形是如此的严重，我们必须采取措施来控制环境的污染。
第一，我们不应该乱扔垃圾，无论何时我们手中有垃圾，应该养成扔进垃圾箱的习惯，有时候垃圾是可以循环利用的。
第二，政府应该采取一些措施来惩罚那么不处理好污染的产业。有了政府的干预，商家就会格外注意污染，不敢忽视。
保护环境需要每个人的努力，为了我们和后代的健康，我们必须采取措施来保护环境。
