星期三上午，早早的便起床，拿出英语书开始复习。词语、错题、课文这些，是看了一遍又一遍。九点半，匆匆地拿着昨夜便准备好的东西怀着忐忑不安的心情，来到考场。十点，老师发下考卷，开始考试。我浏览了一遍试卷后，开始答题。语法是得心应手，可听力和阅读却让我犯了难，冥思苦想后才勉勉强强地写上了答案。
星期五到了，昨晚便没睡好，担心考试成绩不佳。到了下午放学时老师把考卷发了下来，我英语成绩是八十四分。我拿着刚发下来的英语试卷，我看着试卷上的圈圈点点，看着红红的大叉叉，看着红红的八十四分，心里有一种说不出的滋味。看着充满语法错误的，看着扣去的3分，满脑子都是妈妈的责备、焦虑，我的心里充满了恐惧。再细看我的语法部分，竟由于粗心失去了不该失去的分数，让我倍感惋惜整整一节课，我一个字也没听进去，光想着如何面对回家后妈妈那阴沉的脸。
回家路上，我的脚像套了沙袋一样，步伐十分沉重。望着天空我感觉到太阳都是黑色的，空气又闷又热，简直让人窒息。阵阵凉风从我身边吹过，呼呼呼。忽然，啪，我身边的石棉瓦被风刮倒了，随着一声巨大的声音，石棉瓦破损了。这时，有两个声音交织在我的耳际：真分数，死定了，找些花言巧语来应付妈妈吧面对现实吧，失败乃成功之母，只要我以后努力考出题更好的成绩，妈妈肯定会原谅我的。
回到家里，我把画满红叉叉的试卷交给了妈妈，妈妈非但没有骂我，还语重心长的对我讲了很多道理，并且还帮我分析了原因，我十分感动。是妈妈让我明白了：

新学期英语教学的感想
今天上午上了一节课。对于大二的学生，这学期是崭新的、富有挑战性的一年，这是学校课程改革后的一次大变脸。整体思路就是突出专业课，消减基础课。英语和政治是学校的两大基础课，然而英语做了大的调整，而政治没有任何变化。谈论的老师讲，政治关系到每个学生的思想状态，我国教育的传统觉得决定了这一地位不能变。细看教学计划后发现，每周由原来的四节课变成了两节课，这一部分主要完成综合教程制定单元的Text A及重要练习，以词汇、语法和翻译为主。教师可以根据各班的具体情况并对Text B及其他制定的Texts做一定讲解，但有所侧重，主要是将所学内容进一步深化及词汇和结构进行拓展。课时减少了一半，六课时勉强能对付以前的课本精读(综合教程)上的教程要求，但对于拓展和教学改革觉得很不可思议，就算你有想法，也没有时间和精力施展。为什么呢?现在除了本三的两个独立本科院校外，分为本部，东区，北区和新区。课时的减少，无形中增加了每个老师的工作量，因为他们的班级多了。除了从事大外的教学外，还得让学生选修一到两门的.课。那个备课量和作文安排非常大。一个优秀的、对教学各个环节的老师是无法对付的。还有排课的时候，为了能体现"公平"，绝大数老师的授课分布在各大校区。往往一个上午有个第一二节课，然后第三节课各校区跑，第四五节课再上课。为了不减少课时量，不少老师现在都得上八个班，还得来回跑。不少老师闲谈中都表现不能理解这一做法。不少搞课题研究的老师也很郁闷啊。在国外进修拿到的那一套，过程性和阶段性的研究项目，现在随着每年的分班选课不能继续了，只能中途夭折了。学生都是按照自己的兴趣在选课，随意性很大，而且每学期选一次，不少老师也觉得外在老师花太的劲好像也效果不是很好。
对于教学进步的安排还有一个问题是，教学时间的减少，使得老师和教学主管不得不吧听说教程和快速阅读延伸到了课外，让学生能够自主学习。听说教程量没有任何减少，在计划中写到在期末考试中有所体现。快速阅读也有学生自己课外安排。老师可以适当检查。通过这个计划，我们可以知道，我们需要的学生应该是自主学习能力很强的学生。课务的减少，尤其听说内容从课堂的消减，会不会让学生误以为口头表达能力根本就没有任何意义呢?何况，对于四六级口语考试也不是人人都可以参加的。这个措施很显然不利于引导学生关于英语实用性能力的培养。毕竟，将来的招聘要求最起码的听说能力，这种做法，令人担心，四年后，他们的英语学习和能力究竟会是什么样?说到自主学习，学生能否做到呢?中国的学生向来是比较被动的，为了考试而学习，完成了考试也就终止了学习。他们的自主学习能力本身就很弱，也没有有意培养，这种做法有点突然，缺少层次的推进。虽然说学校有网上自主学习中心，但资源的短缺能否满足全校的需求呢?离开了老师监督的学生能否真正开展呢?因为，听说能力，指望老师再来课上抽查督促，老师没有时间啊。还有，这种能力怎么能在少的时间内衡量呢?还有，听说教程就是学习自学，听听力材料，但口语还有谁去培养呢?你期末考试又不会考。英语教学课时的减少，给其他学科的教学留有了足够的时间这没有错，课时课外的时间学生不也会把时间过多的分配给专业课吗?现在我们也只能指望四六级考试，包括口语考试，因为这是社会的，是学生的敲门砖，为了在将来的求职中获得优势，他们不得不努力。但我想，仅靠着社会上的考试来推动校内的课程改革，显然是不够的。
如何在现在的情况下培养学生的自主学习能力?这是个新问题，也是个值得探讨的问题。如何谋求网络技术和英语教学的结合看来也非常值得研究。
