一、问题提出

我校自三年级起开设英语，经过多年的教学实践，发现投入的时间精力很大，但收效甚微，不仅学生在历次的测验中表现都都不太理想，而且学生在英语的听说读写各方面都存在问题。

为深入了解学生学习英语的习惯养成，从而有针对性地开展教学研究，总结出我校学生普遍存在的英语不良学习习惯以及学生自主使用的有效学习方法;然后结合学校以及学生家庭生活实际情况制定出适合大多数学生的学习习惯;提高学生英语水平。笔者就小学生英语学习习惯做了如下调查与分析。

二、调查对象及操作

《小学英语学科学生良好学习习惯养成研究》这一课题方案确立以后，笔者于xx年6月15日在我校三四年级一班学生中随机抽取了50名学生进行了问卷调查.笔者主要从调查对象的英语学习习惯入手，分别围绕英语学习的目的、态度和方法等方面设计20题，采取“单(多)选”的方式。为了确保此次调查最大程度上客观地反映实际情况，我要求学生以无记名的方式上交调查表。问卷共发放50份，回收50份，有效卷50份。

三、调查结果分析

调查问卷中，设计英语学习兴趣和目的的有3个题。结果显示98%学生都对英语感兴趣，90%的学生对英语有强烈的喜好。这一结果与平时观察的结果相符。在“影响学习兴趣的因素”调查中，教师的教学方法和教材的趣味性是吸引学生学习的主要因素。“学习英语的目的性”调查中，50%学生学习动力是个人兴趣爱好，30%是考学需要，18%是社会就业需要，还有2%是因为家长老师的要求。学习需要是学习动机产生的基础，因而48%的学生对英语学习的兴趣将会长久保持。还有50%的学生由于仅凭自己的喜恶学习英语，目的性不强，学习的劲头很容易波动，需要教师加强课堂教学的吸引力度，否则，到高年级学习时，他们很容易因为不喜欢或者学习难度加大而放弃英语的学习，这是我们不愿看到和接受的。

关于学生英语学习习惯的习题有15个，从综合比例来看，大部分学生只具有单一的学习习惯—朗读和书写：能在认真书写英语、上课时摘抄笔记、独立完成作业、课后及时复习、能大声朗读英语课文并模仿其语音语调以及主动提问。

低年级组的英语重点在于说和听，85%的学生都只是偶尔“听磁带20分钟”、“和同学用英语对话”;有时“预习课文”、“进行课外英文阅读”。

从这些数据上不难看出学生有着比较认真的复习态度，却缺少大量的听说练习，这对学生升入高年级的英语学习会产生很大的影响。

调查的最后一题是关于学习方式和环境的，学生对老师教学内容和方式的渴望在听说读写各方面都有。其中65%的学生渴望在真实的生活情境中运用英语，希望老师平时能注重口语实践，使英语融入自己的交际应用中。

四、小结与反思

以上调查结果表明，低年级学生总体上对英语学习持有积极的情感态度;而从各项非智力因素分析，学生学习能力的发展明显滞后，学习习惯需要有序培养。为此，在今后的英语教学中，我们课题组成员将要帮助学生全面培养良好的英语学习习惯，不断激发并强化学生的学习兴趣，并引导他们逐渐将兴趣转化为稳定的学习动机，以使他们树立英语学习自信心;采取强化训练手段和规范要求使学生掌握一系列学习策略，应用到学习习惯中，使之内化，学生形成自觉性、坚定性、自制力、有恒心等学习品质;让学生自主、合作互动型学习，促进学生对英语学习形成积极态度，继而提高学生的英语学习素质。
