其实呀，上台之前，我也很矛盾，为什么呢？我已经当了多年的班长，真不知道是否还要参加这次竞选？

经过了两天的反复思考，我决定：不当班长了！因为美国总统也不过只当两任，我应该退出，把机会让给其他同学，让他人也有锻炼自己的机会。当然，我会像普京支持梅德韦杰夫一样，支持和帮助我们的新任班长。众所周知，我是一个非常热爱我们的班集体的人，自然还想成为我们的班委成员，做个老师的好帮手，全心全意为大家服务。所以，我最终决定参与我们班“英语课代表”的竞选。

我很喜欢英语这门课，我更想带领全班同学和我一起爱好英语，学好英语，相互帮助，共同提高。如果我是英语课代表，我除了认真完成老师委派的任务如收发作业、试卷、作业检查、准备课堂用的教具以及协助老师做好学习任务的布置和督促全班同学的学习等日常工作，我还将要组织成立英语兴趣小组，开办英语角，带动爱好英语的同学加入这个学习小组，取得更大地进步；同时还开展互帮互助活动，帮助对英语没有兴趣的同学或者英语成绩不好的同学查找原因，传授给他们适合的学习方法，提高他们学习英语的积极性，指导他们养成良好的学习习惯，带领全班同学共同进步。

凭我多年担任班委积累下来的丰富经验，凭我对我们这个集体的热爱，凭我对英语学习的兴趣，凭我有学好英语的信心和能力，凭我有乐于助人的热情，我一定会带领六（3）班团结进取，学好英语！
