我喜爱的夏天作文（1）
It is true that summer is hot, very hot. But the wicked summer sun is nothing to me, for I don't usually go out. What I like to do best during the long summer vacation is to stay in my own little room and read. I love to read, but during the school year I could hardly find a free moment for reading. Endless assignments press down upon me like a mountain. I feel confined and imprisoned. Once the summer vacation comes, however, I have all the time in the world to read and read and read. I read everything I want to read. I read to my heart's content. My room maybe small, and the sun maybe hot, but I'm free, I'm happy, I'm really living! Oh, how I love summer!

我喜爱夏天，因为夏天可以吃到甜甜的西瓜,喝到凉爽的饮料，可以去水上乐园游泳，可以在清凉的空调房里看电视或者下围棋。
我喜爱夏天，夏天可以到湖边观赏美丽的荷花，看荷花在风中翩翩起舞，看晶莹的水珠在荷叶上跳动。
我喜爱夏天，白天，我们可以在树上捉知了；晚上，一边逮闪闪发光的萤火虫一边听青蛙唱美妙的歌。
我喜爱夏天，夏天每天都可以洗澡，可以在浴桶里尽情的玩泡沫，玩我心爱的玩具小鸭子。

轰隆轰隆”的雷声欢送了春，打开了一个全新的世界，告诉我们：夏天来了。夏虽闷热，却也缤纷多彩。
夏天的太阳挂在头顶，发出火辣的光，照在人们身上，激发起人们的斗志，使人们充满青春与活力。夏天的天气就像孙猴子的脸，说变就变，上午还是烈日当头照，下午狂风暴雨就像海水爆发一样涌了出来，霎时间，雷雨交加，电闪雷鸣。一小阵暴风雨过后，太阳又恢复了能量，照射出更强烈的光。
夏季的荷花是历代著名诗人都赞美过的，例如：杨万里的“接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红。”李白的“竹色溪下绿，荷花镜里香。”苏轼的“ 微雨过，小荷翻，榴花开欲燃 。”…… 荷花是夏季的一大亮点，它象征着清白。“出污泥而不染”一句，就赞美了荷花的高贵品格，是清白、高洁的象征。荷花的花朵艳丽，清香远溢，碧叶翠盖，十分高雅。一阵轻风吹过，荷花在水中翩翩起舞，婀娜多姿，散发出淡淡的清香，沁人心脾。
绿色是夏天的象征，大树是绿色的，草地也是绿色的。榕树高大挺拔，抬头仰望，一树鲜绿的叶子在阳光的照耀下闪着光芒，显示出无限的生机与活力，像极了夏季的守护者。梧桐树也像榕树一样高大，手掌似的树叶密密麻麻的伸向四周，像是夏季的雨伞，留下一片荫凉。
虽春有百花盛开，秋有硕果累累，冬有玉树琼枝，但都不及夏的清香、碧绿、生机勃勃。
