I am so afraid of the exam, because I want to be No.1 all the time, I just want my parents to be happy. Every time when I get the high marks, I will show it to my parents and they will be very happy and proud of me. But this time, I don’t do well in the exam, I am so careless, I am afraid that my parents will let down, I am not going to tell them the result. When I go home, my mother looks at me and I don’t seem to be happy. I rush to my room, then my mother asks me what happened, I decide to be honest and tell her the exam. 诚实在当今社会是非常重要的。随着人们变得越来越聪明，而且诱惑也越来越多，有些人会通过说谎来得到他们想要的东西。这是不好。如果你说了一次谎，你就会说第二次，第三次。第三次并不代表着结束，你说起谎来会变得越来越容易。之后，你就会成为一个满口谎言的人。没有人相信你。多么可怕！虽然有时候诚实会让你蒙受损失，但是基本上都是一些微不足道的损失。因此，你赢得了别人的信任。而且，如果你总是欺骗别人，他们也会同样对你。这样的话，我们的世界将变成什么样子？我认为我不需要强调信任的重要性。信任能让事情变得完全不一样。为了自己也为了别人，做一个诚实的人吧。

By being honest, manufacturers and businessmen build up mutual trust between themselves and customers, which in the long run generates more profit. By telling patients the truth about their conditions so that they can make their own decisions, doctors and nurses enhance their own credibility and honor their profession. By giving honest answers to questions, not only can students themselves learn about their own strengths and weaknesses, but they help their teachers evaluate the quality of their instruction as well.
