Nowadays, under the new marketing system, students render quite different opinions about the destination of study. Some of them hold that having a dlploma is certainly the destination of study in college. They believe that the dlploma will guarantee favorable opportunities in the joh-huntlng campaigns. So their college lives are ahnost focused on the hooks which help them pursue decent scores in the exams. However, can a diploma be regarded as an equivalent for the success in the future?

Under the new maketing system, quite many college students tend to challenge this belief. They believe that it is most important to develop the personal interests and often have every reason to pride themselves on excellent academic achievements in the subjects they take a great interest in, while they may flunk in other courses.

As one of the modern college students, I firmly believe that college is a place where we learn how to learn. We should take best advantage of the chance to learn broadly math, history, and various sciences, not merely for a diploma. On the other hand, it is also quite necessary that we take a wide interest in computer, foreign languages or any other practical disciplines rather than just confine ourselves within textbooks so that we could show ourselves as versatile graduates in the future job markets. Only in this way can we keep on learning throughout our lifetime and always keep with the times.

With the development of Chinese economy, the world is seeking business cooperation with China, so as to win the booming market. Learning the local language helps them to win more Chinese customers, so more and more foreigners start to learn mandarin, but they find it is the most difficult language to master.

Firstly, there are four tones in Chinese language, which is hard to pronounce for them. As different tones has the different meanings, foreign people feel confused when they hear different tones, they can't figure out the meanings, because the words sound almost the same. So most of them speaking Chinese just ignore the tones, which makes them have special accent.
首先，汉语有四个声调，这让他们很难掌握发音。不同的音调又有不同的含义，外国人感到困惑，他们听到不同的音调时，分不清其中的含义，因为单词听起来几乎是一样的。所以，他们大部分人说汉语时都忽视了音调，这使得他们有着特殊的口音。
Secondly, Chinese language is profound, especially the old poems. The history of more than five thousand years makes this big country full of charm. At the same time, the old poem is also difficulty for the local people, let alone to the foreigners. We can keep trace of the history by studying the poems. So it is the necessary part learning mandarin.
其次，中国语言是博大精深的，尤其是古诗。五千多年的历史使这个大国充满了魅力。与此同时，古诗对当地人来说都是比较难的，更不用说外国人了。我们可以通过学习诗词来了解历史。因此学习古诗也是学习普通话的一部分。
As the saying that there is a will, there is a way. Some foreigners still can learn Chinese well.
俗话说有志者，事竟成，还是有部分外国人可以把中文学得很好的。

I always feel it a burden to learn knowledge after I go to school. As a small girl, I just want food and hang out to play for fun. Study seems the most difficult thing for me. Later, I figure out that the reason why I refuse to study is because I lack of interest. Some day, my teacher asked me to her office and she asked me to watch a TV show with her. Both of us laughed out loudly. When the show was over, she asked my opinion about the characters, then I gave her my own idea. My teacher said the things I learned from the show were the same as the book described. At this moment, I found the interesting way to learn knowledge. As the saying that interest is the best teacher and I am lucky to have it.

English is a useful and very important language. So how to learn it well? I have some suggestions here.

First of all, we should remember the pronunciation and spelling of words firmly, and then review and consolidate them in time. Secondly, we should often speak in English, which is for practicing oral English. Thirdly, we can write more articles in English and use grammar correctly. In order to learn English well, we can also watch more English movies and listen to more English songs. These are all good ways to learn English.

Before, I believe in those words, I think if people insist, they can do everything. But last week, I saw a TV show, a scholarship told people to learn to give up sometimes, and they could gain more. He explained that he met a boy who was not good at studying, but he was skilled in cooking, so he encouraged the boy to give up studying the major that he was not good at and learned to be a cook. And now, the boy is a famous cook, it proves that give up is not a bad thing, people need to find the right place, or they will not successful.

In China, English is the indispensable suject for students to learn. Some students complain that there is no need to learn English because we live in China, while when we look around the world, we can find that there are more and more foreigners learn Chinese. As the world gets globalized, the world is watching us and foreigners are very interested in our culture. some of them learn Chinese for they sense the great commercial potential and want to do business with us. There is even a competition for foreigners to show their level of Chinese. I am so surprised by their insistance. The foreigners can learn Chinese so well, so there no reason for us to give up English.

There is a big skating ground near our school. In winter, I often go skating there, and I enjoy the sport very much.

While doing anything, we often meet many kinds of setbacks, but we shouldn't lose heart, we should overcome them with confidence instead of getting away from them. Then we will gain one victory after another.

When we encourage people, we will always tell them not to give up, they can be successful if they insist. “Never give up” have been the inspiring words, people accept them as the positive life attitude. However, sometimes if people insist all the time and never change, these inspiring words are not wise to keep.

People should learn to give up sometimes. Parents think study is very important, so they ask their kids to insist to learn and go to college. But the fact is that not all the kids are good at study, some kids are not interested in study, they are good at other things. Parents should not push their children to go to college, the kids can learn the things they are good at, like cooking, amending cars and so on. Going to college is not the only way to be successful, learning the practical skills also makes them successful.

有时候人们应该学着去放弃。父母认为学习是很重要的，因此他们要求孩子坚持学习，直到上大学。但是事实上，并不是所有的孩子擅长学习，一些孩子对学习不感兴趣，他们擅长别的东西。父母不应该逼迫孩子上大学，孩子可以学习他们擅长的东西，比如烹饪，修汽车等等。上大学并不是成功的唯一出路，学会使用的技巧同样也能成功。

People must know clearly what they are insisting, if they keep the right direction, they should insist, but if they keep the wrong direction, they need to give up and open another new chapter of their lives.
人们必须清楚知道他们坚持的是什么，如果他们保持的是对的方向，他们应该坚持下去，但是如果他们走的是错误的方向，他们需要放弃，展开人生的新篇章。

A large number of students hold a misunderstanding towards history study because they consider it as useless and boring. However, each subject has its own value, not excepting history.

There are several points accounting for my view. In the first place, history is a part of culture, which is the spiritual backbone of a nation. Through learning history, we can appreciate the culture of a country, as well as the history of its development, so that we can understand our nation better. In the second place, history learning helps us to make correct decision. By review the history of our nation's development, we are able to avoid some mistakes which we had made in the past and draw lessons from past experience, which is helpful for us to make correct decision. Last but not least, we can learn some new ways of thinking from learning history. By learning different ways to solve problems in history, we will be the people with a compressive mind.

有几点理由可以支持我的观点。首先，历史是文化的一部分，是一个民族的精神支柱。通过学习历史，我们可以看到一个国家的文化，以及它的发展史，这样我们才可以更好地了解我们的国家。第二，学习历史可以帮助我们做出正确的决定。通过回顾我国发展的历史，我们可以避免一些过去曾经犯过的错误，并从过去的经验中吸取教训，这有助于我们做出正确的决定。最后但并非最不重要的是，从历史的学习中我们可以学到一些新的思维方式。通过学习历史上不同的解决问题方法，我们会成为一个想法多多的人。

In brief, learning history is necessary and important. Therefore, there is no the most useful course at all, and we should make effort to find out the value of each course.

总之，学习历史是有必要和重要的。所以说没有最有用的课程,我应该要找出每堂课的价值所在。
