In order to improve our knowledge, we should be able to read English. In addition, most of the large news agencies use English in making their reports. Only those who read English can get benefit from the English newspapers which will no doubt give them a comprehensive knowledge of the current events in the world.

Judging from the present tendency, English appears to be regarded as the standard language of the human beings.
