美国梦（1）
在我的家乡南安市水头镇这个经济发达的沿海小镇，出国并不是什么稀奇事，甚至是许多人的梦想。爸爸被公司派去了美国，大家都说，他再也不会回来了，因为，美国是世界上最富裕的国家。
两个月后，妈妈也顺顺当当的领到了护照，只要一签证，就可以去美国了。很多人向我表示祝贺，邻居的吴大妈说：“哎呀呀！不得了！先出去一个，再一个一个跟出去，那简直就是奔向天堂呀！
于是，我的心中升起一个美国梦。
事情的发展完全出乎意料。
在给妈妈的电话里，爸爸明确表示，自己在一年的公派到期后一定会回国，他要妈妈郑重考虑出国陪读的事。
面对唾手可得的机会，妈妈艰难的选择了放弃出国，妈妈不出国，当然更轮不到我，美国梦就此破灭。
那年我8岁，我不明白，为什么爸爸不留在人人说好的美国，却傻呵呵的按期回国？
今年寒假，爸爸带我参观了水头30年变化展览。在两张照片前，他站了很久，一张是30多年前的水头，那是一块荒芜的浅滩，几艘破船在海上行驶，岸边是几排低矮的草房。另一张是2012年的水头，楼宇成群，高耸入云，五里桥公园焕然一新，一个现代化的海滨小城跃然眼前。
“中国现在的发展速度举世瞩目，改革开放给祖国带来了希望。少年强则国强，也许到了你们这一代，中过国就能跨入世界最发达国家的行列。”爸爸深情的对我说。
爸爸的话使我联想到许多许多：
我想到老师给我们介绍的祖国光辉的历史、壮丽的山河……
我想到革命先烈为新中国抛头颅、洒热血的英雄事迹……
我想到钱学森历尽千万苦回到祖国的故事……
我突然明白爸爸为什么按期回国。因为，在他的心中，有一个无法放弃的祖国。
从此，我的心中又有了一个中国梦：我一定要好好学习知识，要把中国建设成世界上最强大的国家，让中国成为21世纪腾飞的巨龙！
