星期六，我在仟叶学校参加了全国外研社举办的英语竞赛的复赛考试。
参加复赛的小朋友一共有24人，有三位监考老师。考试开始了，先是每位小朋友30秒钟的自我介绍，然后是2分30秒的命题发挥。我的命题内容是我喜欢的季节。我是第十号选手，看着前面的选手一个一个进去的时候，我非常紧张。轮到我上场的时候，我的心脏仿佛都要跳出来啦。我深呼吸一次后，开始进行自我介绍和命题发挥。有个别的地方忽然忘记了，我连忙接下一句，没有漏出破绽。赛场上短短的三分钟，我好像度过了好几个世纪一样漫长。短短的演讲结束后，我才慢慢恢复了平静。
希望这次的竞赛可以拿到一个好成绩。妈妈说我很棒，还说我能够站在演讲台上表现自己，就是最大的成功。

我久久盼望着的全国英语竞赛终于来了。今天上午，我怀着激动的心情，以迎战的姿态，健步走进了考场。整个考场的气氛是严肃而不平静的。
监考老师首先对同学们说：“你们不要紧张，静下心来再发卷。这次竞赛是初赛，前五名可以进入决赛，慢慢做，不要急。”监考老师面带微笑，也带着对我们的无限希望。她那么温柔、和蔼，使我这个上下不安的学生，也慢慢地平静下来。
我不知道我直直地坐在座位上，等待着监考老师发卷的那段时间是怎么度过的，只觉得背后好像有类似水珠的东西急速地往下流。当老师发下考卷一刻，我简直心要掉下来了。
拿起卷子，我迫不及待地先看了一下作文的题目，是《My family》。呼，我才松了一口气，这样的作文我已经写过很多次了，我又把整张卷子浏览了一下，上面的英语密密麻麻，还有许多图片和空格，真叫人眼花缭乱。见了这张卷子，我仿佛到了一个英语世界，令人应不暇接；看到难题，仿佛看见一条条壕沟等着我来征服。
“同学们，做题之前，先好好看看试题，看好每题的要求。你们已经不是第一次参加这样的比赛，要沉着，要冷静，要清醒。一会儿，听到录音机响了，才可以动笔做。”监考老师的这番话使我平静下来了。

我觉得这次试题不能说很难，但是也不能说很简单。听力部分比较简单，我最怕的智力题竟然也出意料地简单，不过，很可惜，我还是由于粗心错了一题，而且错得非常乌龙：题目中有8张猫的图片，要我们找出两张一样的，我在把试卷交上去的一瞬间发现，我选的两张图片虽然看上去一模一样，但是两只猫却是一只有胡子，一只没有。唉！这一分丢得太不应该啦！伤心ing。
我觉得这次考试的语法和阅读理解部分比初赛难，我自以为自己掌握的词汇量比较多，但是仍然有几个词是我不懂的，这就使我对个别问题的回答不是很有把握。
这次考试的作文也不是我们特别熟悉的话题，题目是假设自己的爸爸是个警察，要介绍一下他的工作和生活。虽然我也写了70多个单词（题目要求是不低于60个单词），但是觉得没有以前写作文那么有话说。以前竞赛，我的作文经常是写到100字左右的。
考完试跟何皓霖讨论，他觉得题目不难，真是超牛啊！他一定能得一等奖！
回来后，妈妈还发现我还犯了两个粗心的错误，呜呜！妈妈说我的最大敌人是粗心！妈妈经常教育我说，不会做的题目错了，没关系。不会，以后再学。但是会做的题目，由于粗心做错了，就太可惜、太不应该了！但是，我却每次考试都要犯粗心的错误。唉唉唉！
无论如何，紧张的考试已经结束了，不去想它了！就等着出结果吧！老天保佑啊！
