今天，我们的英语竞赛结果出来了，我在这一次竞赛中荣获了三等奖。在今天举行颁奖仪式。
颁奖仪式开始之后，首先李国胜李校长宣布：“现在开始颁奖仪式！”接着李校长致辞：“在2010年学度，我校参加了本县学习竞赛，取得了优秀的成绩！”
然后，李校长用洪亮的声音宣读了获奖学生的名单。
在李校长念到我名字的时候，我的心里无比的自豪。我走上颁奖台，激动地接过李校长亲自颁给我的奖状。讲台下，许多同学正为我鼓掌。我的眼眶涌出了热泪。我心里决定：下次一定要做得更好！不能辜负老师的期望啊！

这是一节有趣的英语课，每一个同学都是在快乐的气氛中度过的。第二节课是英语课，“叮铃铃，叮铃铃”上课的铃声响起来了，原本还是一个充满着欢声笑语的教室，立刻因为这个铃声而变得安静下来。过了几分钟老师来了，把一切都准备好了之后，老师拍了拍手，笑着对我们说：“同学们，今天我们先来做一个游戏好不好？”一听到游戏同学们便异口同声地说：“好！”说完后班上就议论开了，你一言我一语地说着，可大家都不知道到底是什么游戏。老师接着说：“同学们，今天我们做的是 ‘What’s missing？’这个游戏。下面同学们请看电脑，这个游戏是考验大家的记忆力，下面我会给大家放一批图片，请大家记住它们，然后我会从中拿走一张，这时请大家凭着记忆想出这少了的是哪个图，并用英语说出来。好，现在游戏开始。”紧接着电脑上出现了五幅图，分别是“购物中心﹑邮局﹑小学﹑中学﹑历史博物馆”。这时老师问：“同学们都记住了吗？”“恩，记住了。”“好。”然后电脑上只剩四幅图了。“谁知道现在少了哪一幅图啊？”说着老师还做出了一个举手的动作。老师话音未落，就有同学举手了。“好，就你说吧！”这位同学站起来说：“少了‘a shopping centre’这个词。”“恩，真不错，恭喜你答对了。”老师依旧笑着说……就这样一节课就在游戏的快乐气氛中结束了。通过这节课，使我更加喜欢英语了，同时我更喜欢这样的游戏，因为游戏不仅好玩，而且使我对这些单词有了深刻的印象，还有助于我们记忆单词。我爱上了这节课；爱上了这个游戏；爱上了英语……

外婆已经67岁了，却有个“远大”志向：学好英语！我知道后有点吃惊，想她有这么好的记忆力和毅力吗？我教她玩游戏，讲了不知几百遍规则，第二天她还是会忘。所以，当外婆来拜我为师时，我真有点吃不准她是否能学好呢。我一直自认为自已的教书能力还是可以的，看到外婆那求学的心，实在少有，就爽快地收她为徒了。我把草稿本拿出来放在桌子上，让外婆坐在桌边。我在本子上写了字母A的大小写后，让外婆拿着铅笔也照着写。外婆目不转睛地盯着我写字母的笔顺，眼珠随着我的笔尖转动。我呢，边写边教她记的方法，比如：写J时想到雨伞杆，a的小尾巴不要太长……教发音时，我让外婆看着我的嘴巴，看着我的嘴形。外婆认真地看，我只教了几遍，她就发得很好，令我惊叹。然后我给她一个单词本，教她字母在五线格里的位置，外婆一笔一画认真地学写。在我这个“名师”的悉心指导下，外婆的进步可谓一日千里了，读写都过关了。不是我教得好，而是外婆有那可贵的求学之心啊！

现代人眼界开阔，把全球看作地球村，把全世界的人都看成是朋友，长大后还要与外国朋友交流。作为一个中国人，不仅要懂中文，还要懂外语。而我的英语水平不大好，所以，爸爸、妈妈商量，利用暑假让我到卓越英语补习。

我被编入B31班，学习《英语语音过关》。教我们这一班的是曾老师，国字脸，鼻梁上架着一副近视眼镜。他总让我们在快乐中学习知识，我们都很喜欢他。同时，我还认识了两类同学，一类是吵吵闹闹、爱开小差的捣蛋鬼，另一类是安安静静、用心学习的好学生。在卓越英语，每个同学都有自己的英文名字，我的英文名字叫Tony（托尼），可大家都叫我“掏泥”。
在卓越英语，我学得很努力，老师一教我就懂，字写得也不错，老师经常夸我。但我记性不大好，有时候举起手来想发言，却不知道说什么。我想，这是基础不扎实的缘故，还得多下功夫。
于是，我不仅在学校里学，还在家里学。老师发给我们每人两张《英语语音过关》碟片，让我们在家里听。下午和晚上家里的台式电脑被姐姐“统治”着，所以，我每天早上很早起来听碟片读英语。每天放学回家，都要进行巩固，攻守并进。我的家庭作业几乎都是对的。
时间过得飞快，暑假快要结束了，我又要回到环山小学了。在新的学期里，我会更加努力，更加认真的，少点让爸爸、妈妈替我操心。同时，我真希望学校里的每位老师都像卓越英语的曾老师那样，让我们在快乐中学到知识。
